Payne Goes Central
It was revealed last month that John Payne, the regional vice president in charge of the Harrah’s Atlantic City properties, was promoted to president of the company’s central division, which includes all the Harrah’s casinos in the Midwest. Payne came to Atlantic City one year ago after leading the company’s Gulf Coast properties.
A Harrah’s spokesman said that Payne’s position will be eliminated and the GMs of all four Atlantic City properties will now report to Carlos Tolosa, the president of Harrah’s eastern division.
