More Than Dinner & A Movie
![]()
If you haven't seen the movie Batman Begins at the IMAX theater at Tropicana's Tropicana's Quarter, then get out of the bat cave and don't miss it. The dark, thrilling blockbuster has been doing big box office since its premier on June 15, playing an average of four shows a day. On July 15 the caped crusaider will shift to one screening daily to make room for Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, starring Johnny Depp. Based on Roald Dahl's classic children's book, the movie promises to be more bizarre than the Gene Wilder version, complete with CG environments and dancing Oompa-Loompas.
And what could be better after seeing a movie about a chocolate factory than digging into some delicious dessert? Brulee: The Dessert Experience, located a few doors down from the IMAX, will be offering promotions for the duration of the film, including a specialty chocolate dessert created by executive chef Jamal Edwards.
