Missouri’s Casino Aztar gets new name
Isle of Capri Casinos put the finishing touches on a transformation of the former Casino Aztar in Caruthersville, Missouri, marking the official start of the Lady Luck Casino era. Isle purchased the casino in 2007 for $45 million, but has left the name as Casino Aztar until now. Last month, the company changed the chips, cards, tabletops and dice. “Our team members are thrilled to become the first Lady Luck Casino,” said Lyle Randolph, general manager of the property. The Caruthersville casino is the first property branded with part of Isle of Capri’s two-name system.
